Who we are

Wesley Fellowship at Emory University is a United Methodist campus ministry for undergraduates and graduate students housed at Glenn Memorial United Methodist Church in Atlanta, Georgia.

Emory Wesley is located at Glenn Memorial UMC, a historic congregation on Emory’s campus founded in 1920. Glenn welcomes Wesley students with open arms to be part of worship and other ministries. Glenn is part of the United Methodist Church, a global denomination whose mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.

Emory Wesley is a partner of Reconciling Ministries Network, a United Methodist organization working for LGBTQ+ inclusion and intersectional justice in the UMC and beyond. Emory Wesley professes values of curiosity, inclusion, and radical hospitality.

What we do

MONDAY NIGHTS, 6-7:30 — Our main gathering on Monday nights includes worship, Bible study, games, and dinner. We meet in the Wesley Room at Glenn Memorial United Methodist Church. Glenn is on Emory’s campus at 1660 N Decatur Rd. For help finding us, contact Sutton at ssmith@glennumc.org or check out our Instagram @emorywesleyfellowship.

SMALL GROUPS — Emory Wesley has three small groups that meet regularly: one for undergrads, one for grad students, and one for students who identify in the LGBTQ+ community. If you’re interested in being part of a small group, reach out to Sutton at ssmith@glennumc.org to get connected.

OPEN HOUSE — The Wesley Room is open at various times during the week as a space for students to hang out and study. We’re always stocked with coffee, tea, and snacks! Join the Wesley GroupMe to see when we’re open.

SERVICE — Each month, Emory Wesley partners with the young adult ministry at Glenn Memorial UMC for a service and learning opportunity. Follow our Instagram to see what we’re doing next.
